The ruins of holy city (Dur-Ontash City) of the Kingdom of Elam, Ontsash-Gal, surrounded by three huge concentric walls Founded c. 1250 B.C., and the city remained unfinished after it was invaded by Ashurbanipal as the Assyria king. 12 small temples belonging to goddess of Elam, Palace-Tombs, and a masterpiece ziggurat with many inscriptions are the eminent parts of this site. It was registered in UNWSCO list in 1979 as the incipient Iranian world heritage site.
