Pasargadae is the first capital of Achaemenid Empire founded by Cyrus the Great in the 6th century B.C. it is an increasable complex including palaces, garden, and mausoleum of Cyrus the Great. Achaemenid art and architecture and exceptional testimonies are evidences of Persian civilization. Cyrus the Great’s tomb is the most famous part of this complex. It was created in Pasargadae became a prototype for Western Asia architecture. It was known as the grave of Madar-E Soleiman (The Solomon’s mother) during Islamic period. Cyrus the Great was the most well-known empire in Iranian history for his manner, character and particularly respect to the beliefs and customs of different nations. Pasargadae was registered in UNESCO world heritage list 2004.
